WELCOME
NHAHS Mission, Vision, Guiding Principles and 2011
Priorities
Mission: “Gather, Preserve, and Display the Legacy of
Naval Helicopter Aviation”
Vision: To
make NHAHS the premiere repository of all Naval Helicopter History to include our
work on the USS MIDWAY Museum and achieves stored at the San Diego Air and
Space Museum in Balboa Park.
Guiding Principles:
- Practice
long-term planning
- Inform and
educate our followers openly and effectively
- Achieve the
mission through team work
- Exercise sound
judgment in meeting the active duty and retired Helicopter Community and
NHA’s needs
- Demonstrate
honesty and integrity in all actions
- Encourage and
support innovation in gathering our history
- Value all the
contributions of our culturally-diverse members
- Treat each
other with courtesy and respect
- Provide
training to support the mission through innovative means
